Our team consists of passionate graduate students and accomplished staff members from Atatürk University.

Dr. Emel OZ
Associate Professor, Food Engineering

Dr. OZ awarded her PhD degree in Food Engineering from Atatürk University in 2018. Thereafter, she pursued her post-doctoral studies at University of Aarhus, Denmark in 2021.

Elif EKIZ, MSc

Elif is a Research assistant at Atatürk University. She is also a PhD Candidate. Through her research, Elif aims to produce protein hydrolysates from cattle slaughterhouse waste.

Adem SAVAS

Adem is a PhD Candidate at Atatürk University. He is currently studying protein oxidation in fermented meat products.

Zeynep ELBIR

Zeynep is a PhD Candidate at Atatürk University. The main focus of her research is cholesterol oxidation products in fermented meat products.

Eyad AOUDEH

Eyad is a PhD Candidate at Atatürk University. His interests are focused on exploring the effect of novel substances on the formation of HAA compounds
