Academic Distinction

Prof. OZ holds the title of Professor since 2017, having previously served as an Associate Professor from 2012 to 2017 and an Assistant Professor from 2007 to 2012 within the Department of Food Engineering at Ataturk University. His professional duties encompass teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, supervising MSc and PhD theses, and conducting research projects.

Prof. OZ boasts a notable publication record, having authored over 261 peer-reviewed articles and presented 130 papers at both national and international conferences. Additionally, he has actively contributed to over 45 national and international projects while supervising approximately 18 dissertations. His impactful work is reflected in the citation counts, with his publications garnering more than 1350 citations in Web of Science (h-index 23) and 1680 citations in Scopus (h-index 24).

Education​

 Prof. OZ graduated from the Department of Food Engineering at Atatürk University, Turkey, then he earned an MSc in 2000. Following this, he was awarded his Ph.D. degree in Food Engineering from Atatürk University in 2006. Subsequently, in 2007, Prof. OZ pursued his post-doctoral studies at Pennsylvania State University, USA.
